A Thousand Little Things

…that worked for me! This personal path was restoring a simpler more natural life in this time of chaos. My health journey includes input from trusted personal physicians – including the Great Physician – and research throughout the years.  Inspiration and education has come from books such as the late Arthur Firstenberg’s “The Invisible Rainbow: the History of Electricity & Life” (www.cellularphonetaskforce.org), 20+ year Stage IIIb cancer survivor, Chris Wark’s “Chris Beat Cancer” (www.chrisbeatcancer.com), Dr. Joseph Mercola’s EMF*D on healing EMF radiation injury with spirulina, etc. (www.mercola.com), and the One Year Bible  (Genesis 2, 9:1-7, Deut. 14:1-21, Daniel 1 ).  On this site, I share what helped me for educational, inspirational purposes only. Today
there is no evidence of cancer on my testing**. Five+ years out from Stage IIIB adenocarcinoma diagnosis, resection surgery with clear margins , 4 of 16 biopsied lymph nodes were still positive.  Not a good candidate for chemotherapy, immunotherapy or radiation due to co-existing medical conditions, I followed a mostly natural protocol, along with combined monthly IV Vitamin C, mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, weekly Ivermectin with guidance from my integrative physician, and monitoring from my oncologist.  Quality of life with CFIDS/ME, FMS,MCS/EMR Syndrome, and tertiary neuro-lyme have also improved while within the protective and healing parameters below.  It was my pathway to life!  Once I found safer places and simpler foods, it became simple.  Experiences and tips in my personal healing pathway that I call a form of “fasted living” are shared here in bullet point format for inspirational and informational purposes only. They consist of a thousand little things that have shown me God is in the details.

Rule of Thumb

I focused on biblical Garden of Eden-style eating with: * KEY – Primarily fresh, simple, raw, organic/non-GMO, alkaline antioxidant foods with few ingredients, combined with intermittent fasting.  Non-inflammatory, immune-boosting food-as-medicine including nuts, seeds, beans, spices, herbal teas, Seychelle filtered water, fermented foods/probiotics with chicken, eggs or salmon four times a week. * KEY- Avoidance of sugar, breads, additives, minimizing toxic exposures, including lower EMF radiation environments at home/work/play.  * KEY – Natural grounding (discharge excess electricity ie. EMFs).  * KEY- Fresh air, sunshine & brief aerobic exercise (oxygenate & flush lymphatics).  Before starting the protocol, I highlighted my favorite, most beneficial things from the books above. Then I cleared cupboards of all foods on the acidic sick list, and re-stocked with an abundance of good, more alkaline favorites from the healthy list.  Same with lifestyle and environmental parameters!  This can be done on a budget too (simple organic fresh & frozen items from Grocery Outlet, Trader Joe’s, Costco, Target, local co-op), and is not labor-intensive.   Get a simple system that works for you, ie. glass containers for nuts, seeds, herbal tea; veggies in same area of refrigerator, smoothie tools together.  GOOD NEWS! In this sacred life space God has given, I feel better , have stayed healthier and stronger spiritually than before the cancer diagnosis!

Pre-Surgical Preparation

* CFS/MCS/ES Anesthesia Protocol:  https://drlapp.com/resources/advice-for-pwcs-anticipating-anesthesia-or-surgery  * ADA Reasonable Accommodations Request Letter, with * ADA Reasonable Accommodation Physician Letter/script (see Resources page).  * During Thanksgiving 2020.  I emailed identifying as person with a disability (PWD) to the Hospital ADA Coordinator/Care Team, requested and was granted medically-necessary accommodations of: a) Medicare-exception private room, non-toxic cleaned, wired-only tech b) Wearing of EMF-shielding cap liner & blanket  c) Two well family members alternating as Disability Support Persons during the first 3 days to help with communication.  (https://thearc.org/blog/federal-civil-rights-resolution-makes-clear-hospital-visitor-policies-nationwide-must-accommodate-patients-with-disabilities-during-covid-19-pandemic)  d) Mask and vaccine exemptions.  e) Ofirmev post-surgical non-opioid pain relief for 72 hours.  f) Clinpiq bowel preparation (without propylene glycol).  My integrative medicine MD gave me one dose Prilosec one hour before surgery admission.

Post-Surgical Transition Protocol

Hospital

Ofirmev non-opioid pain relief for 72 hours (My doctors & nurses fought hospital pharmacy for me due to restrictive hospital protocol falsely alleging drug shortage. There was more profit with opioids than non-opioid.)  It enabled me to walk post-surgically more quickly, and be released on Day 7 for home recovery with just OTC Tylenol for pain & 5 weeks home health.  I continued to build up with short 5-10 min.  multiple daily brief slow walks as tolerated.

Month 1

* Kate Farms Organics (if qualified, insurance-covered w/ doctor’s form). Oral or tube-fed plant-based nutrition w/o sugar– mixed with equal portion Milkadamia unsweetened nut milk sprinkled w/ cinnamon & nutmeg on top)  * Cream of wheat  * Uncle Ben’s white rice (made w/ vegetable broth)

Month 2 & 3

Months 4 – 11

Maintenance/Preventative: Daily multiple short walks

Months 12+

Maintenance/Preventative:  Add 5 lb.weights  * Pool 1x/wk  * Jogging at a slow pace gradually flushes lymphatics.  Respect the body and what God uses it to tell you.  Slow and steady wins the race is an adage I like.  Body restoration one cell replacement at a time over a two-year period is the goal.

Smoothies

Green:  (Organic baby spinach, squeezed lemon with juice & 3 small pieces rind, Pink Lady apple, 6 nuts, 1-2 topped brussel sprouts, ½ stalk celery, 1-2 broccoli florets, tsp. ea. Divine Organics blue-green spirulina and amla powders, Ultima Replenisher, 3 chlorella tabs, sprinkle of cinnamon, filtered water, 4-6 nuts)  Nutribullet or Ninja for 60 seconds, strain juice with colander and drink within 3 hours for active enzymes.  Refrigerate leftovers in glass container. Simplest, quickest fastest-absorbed method or more expensive, time intensive Vita Mix, etc.
Orange: (Organic carrots, baby tomatoes, cilantro, bell pepper, brussel sprout, celery; sprinkle turmeric, cracked pepper)
Pink/Purple:  (Combination of fresh & frozen organic strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and/or pineapple, cherries, cinnamon; 8-10 unsweetened dark chocolate chips or cocoa nibs, tsp. Trader Joe’s Flax Meal, amla, chia seeds; couple of walnuts, mint leaf, ice cubes, ½ tsp. Ultima Replenisher to naturally sweeten)

Herbal Teas

Once a week:  Combine one organic herbal tea bag each:  Ojibwa Native American Herbal Tea, Trader Joe’s Peppermint, Detox & Rooibos teas, Yogi Green Tea Decaf; PLUS teaspoon each loose organic tea in metal ball tea strainer: Sir Jason Winters Tea, Pau D’ Arco, Cat’s Claw, Astragalus Root, Star Anise.  Bring filtered water to rolling boil in stainless steel pot.  Remove from heat, cover and steep 15 min, remove bags/tea ball.  Dilute up to half/half with filtered water & refrigerate in 1 Gallon glass container.  8 oz. glass daily AM & PM.  Occasional 1-2 c. PM

Environmental

This may seem like “Person-in-a-Bubble” sort of living, but when I took reasonable proactive measures and left the rest in God’s hands, I regained much of my life and functionality within that framework.

Housing:  * Rural with topographic blocking features like cliffs, canyons, etc. * Avoid proximity to cell towers, airports, military bases, marine ports, transformer stations or high-tension power towers.  * Check for tower/antenna landscape in area. (www.antennasearch.com)  * Furnishings with cotton, wood, other natural fabrics.  * As much as possible, minimizing metals including coil spring mattresses, as they can heighten microwave injury. 
Lighting:  * Natural lighting (Sunshine, amber and decorative incandescent, limited warm spectrum non-dimmable LEDs, as these are lower EMF) 
* LEDs in cool blue spectrum range can cause problems with the retina 
* Amber or green fitovers for computer work * Lower screen brightness/blues/contrast * 60% opacity prescription sunglasses for transient unavoidable florescent/LED cool lighting to protect eyes/CNS.)
Water:  * Purified water from local water dispenser, then filtered thru personal Seychelle RAD water pitcher (filters out 99.8% radiation and toxins)  * Seychelle water stainless steel bottles (emergencies or travel  (www.seychelle.com) * Shower head water filter (www.needs.com)  * Use of glass containers and drinking glasses when possible to avoid microplastics water contamination.  *  Filtered water, marine garden hose or stainless watering can for watering food garden.
Air:  * Environmental Solutions Envirotech Plug and Play room ionizer (for use when toxic fumes in home/work).
* No fragrances or new carpets, remodeling chemical fumes outgassing. 
* Backup N-95 or N-100 (Home Depot) mask for bruef toxin unexpected exposures when traveling. * Use the recycle air button in the car. * Avoid industrial, farming areas when emissions or spraying is occurring.  * Avoid gas heat, stoves and other VOCs; use of radiant heat or area Eden Pure Buddy heater, blankets, sweaters as needed to avoid chills that lower body temperature and may trigger symptoms.  * Keep humidity air moisture to healthy level as needed by cracking windows open or using a Cool mist humidifier.  Monitor to avoid mold issues. * Saline nasal mist as needed.
Electromagnetic Field/Radiofrequency Radiation Shielding Favorites: * Avoidance/mitigation of exposure to non-native toxic electromagnetic frequency radiation. (wireless 4G/5G+ -emitting devices, Bluetooth and high-tension power towers) (www.antennasearch.com)  
* Measured living/working areas with EMF meter, and if elevated (+ .1 mHz RF or .1-.2 Electrical were comfortable), omit interior sources, shield and/or considered moving. 
* Otherwise, major shielding of room or whole living environment with only wired or battery electronics inside.  See (www.emfanalysis.com,   www.ehtrust.org) for easy emf-lowering tech protocols.  * SwissShield Naturell or Daylight Faraday canopy over bed and/or couch areas; floor sheet also necessary if not on ground floor. (https://safelivingtechnologies.com/products/swiss-shield-naturell-bed-canopy.html) * Wall paint  * TriField TS-2 Meter (www.lessemf.com) or Sound Pro II (for about $150+ with levels .1MhZ or less for areas in for more than hour or two, according to Russian research safety standards, and my canary-in-a-coal-mine body’s post-surgery responses of stabbing pain in post-surgical area when exposed above that level for more than a few minutes). Ration time spent in high EMF areas, especially when there a substantial period of time, such as work or home  * Phone/computer faraday bag, TitanRF for faraday enclosure (www.mosequipment.com)  * Some have reported additional window shielding from 5G small cells by use of succulent & other plants as a barrier in addition to silver window film.  * The meter was essential to find problems objectively.  * I turn off electric breaker box circuit to all but refrigerator/freezer at night.  * No Wi-Fi home security.  * Use battery clock instead of digital.  * Use electrical part of meter reading to position bed and couch away from high electric EMF area. *  For personal grounding, my doctor recommended a large inexpensive shunghite stone sphere (smaller ones can be carried or pendant) held in hands/feet for a few minutes (but not near heart) to ground excess body electricity.  Walking/sitting barefoot outdoors on grass, ground, sand is also helpful (www.shunghit-store.com).  This has also been helpful for migraine and pain relief. *  EMF Rationing:   * Errands routes, church, outdoor or medical activities measuring 200mHz or less, and other transient shopping or other trips rationed weekly.  Major intersections seem to have higher readings, so I plan my lowest travel routes to commonly visited places.  * Kept shielding Silverell beanie and a fabric homemade poncho, ball cap (www.lessemf.com), or cap liner (www.4ehsbehs.com), and small shunghite grounding sphere with meter in car or pocketbook if needed.  Liners also worn under sun hat or crocheted beanie if needed. * Sitting at the back of church, etc. helpful as there is usually less cell phone wireless directed at body.  * Request family/ friends spending time near me place cell phones in airplane mode as a disability accommodation. *  Creative accommodations were helpful here, as well as remembering individual responses may be different to different shielding methods & materials. These helped me. * NOTE: My experiences with Schumann resonance, grounding gadgets/plates (“rocks”) for cell phones, etc. were not helpful for me long-term, as they did nothing to block the radiation itself that caused the cancer, just made me a little less uncomfortable in the process. False hope. Wasted $$$ for me.
Communication:  * I don’t do this, but smart phones can be used at home with an adapter on a wired ethernet setting as a personal computer with all 6 transmitters disabled – and in airplane mode as much as possible when away from home (www.emfanalysis.com/lower-emf-computing). * Fiber optics may be an option. * Both are cheaper, faster and safer than wireless.  * JRS Eco-Router (http://www.jrseco.com) has about 90% less microwave emissions and cuts off automatically when not in use. * I have a wired-only ethernet home office HP Stream computer & copier. The computer is kept airplane mode, with Bluetooth and wireless disabled  (In Microsoft Device Manager>Uninstall Bluetooth Adapter/Human Interface Device>Wireless Button Driver/HID Device/HID-Compliant Consumer Control Device @ startup, using battery instead of power cord.)  * I use a Med-Pat (Model D-2600C) corded desk landline with voicemail on wired-only Arris Surfboard SB-6141 or TM-3402A Cox-compatible router (Amazon)  * Air-Tube headset (Tech Wellness>Safer Tech), or no headset.  * Writing pad, mail.  Avoid satellite phones, or CB/ham radios due to direct SAT wireless transmission signals.
Personal:   * Wearable remediation, including shielding cap liner or ball cap. Cleaning:   * Oreck Hepa Filter Vacuum. * No fragranced products – like with food, simple is better.  * Vinegar or rubbing alcohol as multipurpose cleaner.  * Integrated Pest Management, i.e., Fly swatter, diatomaceous earth, DT, Neem, odorous plantings.
Transportation:   * Older wired-only vehicle, or newer outgassed vehicle either with no wireless electronics package, or with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and GPS disabled.  * No car wireless electronics emitting microwave radiation, unless in airplane mode or turned off head unit if located there – due to heightened microwave oven effect inside metal car/van. * Backup paper maps, or AAA Trip Tiks, along with written directions in address book to most regularly visited places not memorized.  * Walking or bicycles if needed.  * Wireless on planes may prove problematic, but if unavoidable, you may opt-out of non-manual screening process, and wear shielding clothing.

Spiritual

This protocol has been key, especially during first two-year recovery period.  Our spirit impacts the body.   GOOD NEWS:  This type of Genesis creation and Daniel-fasted living has tuned my spiritual life to levels not previously experienced.  If you do not yet have a living relationship with your Creator, I hope that you consider developing one before reading any more.  Simply, this good news is that God became man in Jesus Christ, lived the life we should have lived, and died the death we should have died in our place.  Three days later, the historical record shows He rose from the dead, proving that He is the Son of God, and offering the gift of salvation and forgiveness of sins to anyone who repents and believes in Him.  The way to know this for sure is to ask Him to forgive any past mistakes, come into your heart and life, make it His home, and make Himself real to you.  And forgive others to be forgiven. Tomorrow is not a given for any of us.  I pray that you will take this opportunity to begin relationship with a Living God now … Salvation

There is an upside of taking on the journey healing from cancer through “fasted living”!  Author Jennifer LeClare shares in “The Prophet’s Devotional”, Living a fasted life … changes you.  Ask Him to open your eyes and ears a little wider… Basil, bishop of Caesarea once said, “Fasting begets prophets and strengthens strong men.  Fasting makes lawgivers wise; it is the soul’s safeguard, the body’s trusted comrade, the armor of the champion, the training of the athlete.
Daniel-fasting should be Spirit-led only and under the guidance of a doctor.  When He leads, prepare your heart for revelation.  … feast on the Word and prayer.  A fasted lifestyle will lead you into new levels of the prophetic.’ ”   Ask Him what He wants you to do to fulfill His call on your life.  You are here for a reason.  He will anoint and equip you for His purposes.  Time is short, so we must be about our Father’s business.

Home:  * Mini-Trampoline to flush lymphatics  * Hand weights and Thera Bands for muscle retention in years 1-2
YMCA:  * Low-EMF areas such as pool 20 min.1-3x/wk deep end for hydrotherapy to flush lymphatics after year 5 or * Non-electric exercise devices to build/retain muscle as tolerated 1-2x/wk after year 2 or * Stairs, squats as tolerated to build glutes after year 4.  Talk to your doctor.  For me, slow and steady always wins the race, not fast out of the gate.
Neighboring parks/tracks/ocean/small inclines:  20-30 min. slow jog/prayer walk flat & hill to flush lymphatics, 5-6 days/wk from Month 3 out as tolerated.

Stress Management

Stress has a negative medical effect on the immune system.  In my experience, so does legalism.  The Lord led me to do the SPIRITUAL and EXERCISE things above.  The simplest strategy has been to minimize exposure to the bad stuff, and have as many of the good things (body, soul and spirit) as I want.  I looked over the many choices of natural interventions, highlighted the ones that seemed a good fit, and did those.  Trusting Jesus’ guidance, going with the flow of the Holy Spirit, doing what He led and leaving the rest in God’s hands was a good choice for me!

Testing:
  ** Due to my medical contraindications against ionizing or non-ionizing radiation; since I have been symptom-free/stable post-surgery, my testing has been:  Every SIX MONTHS – In-person manual checkup; CBC with Diff; Comp Metabolic Profile (CMP); CEA; Yearly MRI (without contrast, ie. NO radioactive gadolinium); Colonoscopy @ years 1/4. 

Though as long as I am on this protocol I no longer have the symptoms below, the following have been helpful if I have an excessive unshielded EMF exposure:
