THE MOST IMPORTANT THING
If you do not yet have a living relationship with your Creator, I hope you will consider developing this foundation before proceeding to read this blog.  Simply, the good news in all of the madness and chaos is that we are all broken people, and can never work our way up to God at our best.  So God became man in Jesus Christ, lived the life we should have lived, and died the death we should have died in our place.  Three days later, the historical record shows He rose from the dead proving that He is the Son of God, and offering the gifts of forgiveness of sins, salvation, baptism in His Holy Spirit and power, and a personal relationship with Him to anyone who repents and believes in Him.  The way to know this for sure is to ask Him to forgive you for your mistakes, come into your heart and life, make it His home, and make Himself real to you.  Tomorrow is not a given for any of us.  Don’t wait to be good enough … just come as you are … let Him build a bridge of love and hope and a new life between your heart and His… It’s time!

SALVATION PRAYER
In loving memory of Travis Dickson, a young man who was called Home the day after he heard the Good News.

Dear Lord, I know that I have made mistakes, and in many ways failed myself, others and You. I can’t do this alone.  I thank You that you didn’t mean for me to.  All I have to do is to be sorry for my sins.  Please help me to turn away from wrong paths, and return to You.  Help me to turn.  Help me to hear Your still, small voice, and know You – to have a living, supernatural, everlasting relationship with the One who made me!  Come into my heart and live in me now, I pray.   Save me, Father … I pray in Jesus’ Name.  Thank you for doing what You said in the Bible in John 3:16.  I receive your gift by faith.  I receive the gift of your Holy Spirit.  Come baptize me now, fill and empower me, live in and through me.  I receive all Your gifts including salvation that You paid for when You died on the Cross in my place.  I know that You LOVE and forgive me, and are not mad at me, and that You will help me fulfill Your purposes for my life, so I can be in Your Presence now and forever.  Thank you that I am not alone!  Amen

If you don’t know Christ in your heart as your friend and savior …  establishing this relationship is more KEY than anything else …  I believe that your life is ordained with a purpose and plan in the mind of God even before you were born.  Psalms 139 confirms this, “Before you were in your mother’s womb, I knew you and had a plan for your life.”  He also says you were made in His image.  About two months before my son was born, I painted a black and white picture of a two-year old child for a college art class.  Later, when he was two, he looked exactly like that child.  God reminded me of Psalm, and that each of us is known and loved before birth.  Finding your Creator’s purpose and peace is more than wonderful in these times of chaos beyond our control.  Finding your purpose is another key to wholeness, and physical healing.   I pray that you will find that lifelong relationship with the One who made and loves you.
